EXALAB Data Recovery operates two specialised data recovery laboratories. Prague, Czech Republic – our main lab in Prague 6 (Pod Marjánkou 4, Břevnov) serves clients from across the Czech Republic and other European countries. We offer in-person media drop-off, free courier pickup throughout the Czech Republic and shipping from abroad. We have been recovering data here since 2006.
Bertrange, Luxembourg – our second lab (7B, Rue des Mérovingiens, L-8070 Bertrange) focuses on clients from the Benelux region, France and Germany. We communicate in English, French and German.

Our Prague lab handles the full spectrum of storage media and devices. Each media type requires specific procedures, tools and experience – which is why we specialise in each of them.
Disks account for the largest share of our cases. We handle software issues (deleted data, corrupted file system) as well as hardware faults (read/write head failure, electronics damage, faulty controller). For HDDs, we maintain an extensive stock of spare parts for the most common models. For SSDs, we work directly with NAND memory chips when the situation requires it.

RAID data recovery is among the most complex cases in the data recovery field. We handle all common configurations (RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and proprietary) and work with disks from RAID arrays of all manufacturers. RAID reconstruction requires not only recovering data from individual disks but also correctly reassembling the entire disk set.
NAS devices (Synology, QNAP, Western Digital, Netgear and others) combine multiple disks with their own operating system and file system. A single disk failure, faulty firmware update or file system corruption can render the entire storage inaccessible. We handle both single-disk and multi-disk NAS configurations.
Data recovery from mobile phones and tablets is a specialised field requiring work at the memory chip level, dealing with encryption and platform-specific technologies (Android, iOS). We handle water-damaged, broken and non-functional phones as well as deleted data recovery. We also receive devices after previous unsuccessful repair attempts by other services.
Flash drives and memory cards (SD, microSD, CF and others) use NAND memory chips and when the controller or firmware fails, they require direct chip reading and data reconstruction. We also handle mechanically damaged flash drives with broken connectors and cracked memory cards.

We handle both older models with traditional drives and modern devices with integrated storage.

Although our lab is based in Prague, we serve clients from across the Czech Republic. We offer free courier pickup – we collect the media from your location and ship it back after the case is completed. Prague clients can also drop off and pick up media in person at the lab by prior phone arrangement.
International clients can ship media via courier service. For clients in the Benelux region, France and Germany, our Luxembourg lab provides local intake and processing.

We offer free courier pickup across the Czech Republic. Simply call or fill in the diagnostics order form and we'll arrange collection from your location. Media can also be sent via standard courier service. Clients in the Benelux region, France and Germany can use our Luxembourg lab.

Standard processing time ranges from several days to weeks depending on the media type, extent of damage and current lab workload. If you need urgent results, we offer express or priority processing.
